1. Policy. The Georgia
Community Support and Solutions, Inc. (''GCSS'') Privacy Policy covers
GCSS's treatment of personal or personally identifiable information
(''Personal Information'') that may be collected when you are on the GCSS
web site and when you use GCSS's services. This policy does not apply to the
practices of companies that GCSS does not own or control, or to individuals
that are not under GCSS's supervisory control, which may, but not
necessarily, be accessed through hyperlinks or other modes of connectivity.
2. Collection and Use of
Personal Information. GCSS may collect Personal Information when you use
certain services on the GCSS web site or when you visit cookie-enabled web
pages or you make donations. GCSS may also log your IP address when you use
the GCSS web site. GCSS uses this Personal Information to fulfill requests
for our services or products, to contact users regarding changes to our site
or our business, and to customize the content that you might see on the GCSS
web site. GCSS may also use ''cookie'' files to better serve your needs by
creating a customized web site which fits your needs.
Your demographic information (gender, age, etc.) is used for
several purposes: Demographic information helps us understand the population
of families and individuals we are serving on an aggregate basis. We never
release individual demographics to any party. GCSS also uses demographic
information in aggregate terms for reporting purposes – annual reports,
funding sources, charity-watch agencies.
3. Sharing and Disclosure of
Personal Information. GCSS will not sell or rent your Personal Information to
any individual, business, or government entity. GCSS will share your Personal
Information with other entities should you request GCSS to share such
information (however, upon receipt of a request, GCSS is not required to share
such information and GCSS shall have the ultimate decision-making authority
concerning the same), or if GCSS is required to respond to court orders,
subpoenas or other legal process.
4. Encryption. All user
information will be protected with Secure Socket Layer (''SSL'') encryption.
5. Amendments. GCSS reserves
the right to amend this policy at any time. GCSS will contact registered users,
if any exist, by e-mail, and shall also post a notice of changes on its web
site, when and if the terms of this policy are amended.
